Mariette

Mariette is qualified as a Gestalt Psychotherapist with a Master’s in Gestalt Psychotherapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Malta. With over seven years of experience supporting adolescents, young people, and families, she brings together clinical insight and hands-on social work practice to offer thoughtful, grounded care.
Much of Mariette’s professional journey has involved supporting children and young people in alternative care who have experienced trauma, as well as walking alongside their caregivers. Through this work, she has cultivated a compassionate and steady therapeutic presence, one that prioritizes safety, trust, and healing.

For the past four years, Mariette has coordinated a multi-disciplinary team of social workers, welfare professionals, youth workers, and students. In this leadership role, she provides supervision, mentorship, and guidance, chairs multi-disciplinary meetings, and ensures collaborative, high-quality care. Her experience also includes facilitating therapeutic groups and delivering psycho-educational workshops.

As co-creator of Attune, Mariette works with adolescents, young people, and adults. She supports clients navigating anxiety, unresolved trauma, grief, infertility, parenting challenges, family and peer dynamics, stress, self-esteem, personal growth, and overall wellbeing.

At the heart of Mariette’s work is a deep commitment to creating a safe, empathetic, and respectful space where each person feels truly seen and heard. She believes that, with care and patience, healing and growth unfold naturally, much like a flower nurtured in the right environment.

Sara

Sara is a Gestalt Psychotherapist and Social Worker who brings both professional expertise and deep human presence to her work. She holds a Master’s in Gestalt Psychotherapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Malta, and for over nine years she has been accompanying adolescents, young people, and families through some of the most meaningful and challenging moments of their lives.

Her background in social work led her to work closely with children in alternative care and their caregivers, walking alongside them with care, consistency, and respect. These experiences continue to shape her belief in the importance of safe relationships, attuned support, and the healing that can happen when people feel truly seen and understood.
For the past six years, Sara has been leading a multi disciplinary team supporting complex situations. She has mentored professionals, facilitated training, offered supervision, and created spaces where both service users and practitioners could grow and feel supported.

Sara has pursued further training in trauma informed practice and expanded her learning in London, where she completed Dyadic Developmental Practice, Psychotherapy and Parenting (Level 1 and Level 2).

As co creator of Attune, Sara offers therapy to adolescents, young people, and adults. She supports people who are experiencing anxiety, navigating parenting, carrying unresolved trauma or grief, facing infertility or chronic illness, feeling the weight of burnout, exploring family dynamics, or simply seeking personal growth and a greater sense of wellbeing.

At the heart of Sara’s work is the relationship she builds with each person who walks through the door. She is deeply committed to creating a space that feels safe, respectful, and genuinely welcoming. A space where you can slow down, be yourself, and explore your story at your own pace, knowing you are met with care, empathy, and real understanding.
