Welcome to fina.com.mt. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing products, booking courses, or scheduling salon appointments.

By using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. These terms apply to all transactions made through the website and services provided by our two operating entities: Fina Imports LTD and Fina Med-tech Aesthetics (collectively referred to as “The Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

1.1. Our Structure This website operates as a dual-service platform:

  • Fina Imports LTD: Responsible for the sale of imported beauty products, tools, and business/content workshops.

  • Fina Med-tech Aesthetics: Responsible for professional beauty courses, training, and salon services/treatments.

1.2. Jurisdiction These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malta.

2. PURCHASING PRODUCTS (FINA IMPORTS LTD)

Applies to all beauty products, tools, and equipment bought via our online store.

2.1. Sales Policy We sell to both beauty professionals (B2B) and the general public (B2C). By placing an order, you confirm that all details provided are accurate.

2.2. Delivery

  • We currently ship strictly to Malta and Gozo.

  • Delivery times are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or events outside our control.

2.3. Returns & Hygiene (Strict Policy) Due to the nature of beauty and cosmetic products, we operate a strict hygiene policy.

  • Right of Withdrawal: You have the right to return goods within 14 days of receipt, provided they are sealed, unopened, and in their original re-sellable condition.

  • Opened Products: For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on any item that has been opened, used, or had its protective seal broken. These items are exempt from the standard right of withdrawal.

2.4. Damaged or Defective Items Please inspect your package immediately upon delivery.

  • If an item arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt.

  • Please email us at [Insert Email] with photographic evidence of the damage. Reports made after 24 hours may not be accepted.

3. COURSES & WORKSHOPS (EDUCATION)

Applies to Training Courses (Med-tech) and Business Workshops (Imports LTD).

3.1. Prerequisites & Certification

  • Entry Requirements: Some advanced courses require proof of prior qualifications. We reserve the right to refuse booking if a student cannot provide proof of the necessary skill level.

  • Certification: Upon successful completion, you will receive certification relevant to the specific brand or training module (e.g., PE Cosmetics).

  • Business Workshops: Workshops regarding social media (Canva, CapCut) or business management are for educational purposes. We provide the tools, but we do not guarantee specific business results or income levels.

3.2. Student Responsibilities

  • Models: Students are responsible for sourcing and bringing their own models for practical sessions to ensure proper assessment.

  • Intellectual Property: All course materials, notes, handouts, and digital assets provided during workshops or courses remain the copyright of The Company. You may not copy, resell, or teach from these materials.

3.3. Course Cancellations (By You)

  • Deposits: Course deposits are generally non-refundable.

  • Notification: If you cannot attend, please contact us immediately. If sufficient notice is given, we may, at our discretion, allow the deposit to be transferred to a future date, but this is not guaranteed.

4. SALON SERVICES (FINA MED-TECH AESTHETICS)

Applies to all treatments booked, including via third-party systems like Fresha.

4.1. Medical & Safety Disclosure

  • Some treatments we offer are of a medical-aesthetic nature. You must provide full and accurate medical history (including pregnancy, medication, and allergies) before treatment.

  • We are not liable for any injury or reaction caused by your failure to disclose relevant health information.

4.2. Patch Testing

  • Certain services (e.g., tinting, lifting, chemical treatments) require a mandatory patch test.

  • Requirements for patch tests are clearly stated on our booking page (Fresha). Failure to attend a patch test may result in your appointment being cancelled to protect your safety.

4.3. Minors

  • Treatments for clients under the age of 18 require a signed consent form from a parent or legal guardian.

4.4. Lateness Policy

  • Please arrive on time. If you are late, your treatment time may be shortened to ensure the next client is not delayed.

  • If you are significantly late, we may be forced to cancel your appointment, and the cancellation policy below will apply.

5. BOOKING, DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS

Applies to both Salon Services and Courses.

5.1. Deposits

  • A deposit is required to secure your booking. The amount varies depending on the service or course price.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

5.2. Rescheduling & No-Shows

  • 48-Hour Notice: If you need to change your appointment, you must notify us at least 48 hours beforehand. In this case, your deposit will be transferred to your new booking.

  • Late Cancellations: If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, you may lose your deposit.

  • No-Shows: If you fail to attend your appointment without notice, your deposit will be forfeited to cover the lost time.

5.3. Pricing

  • Prices listed on the website or booking system are final. We do not add surcharges for “extra product usage” or “long hair” unless clearly stated or agreed upon during a consultation prior to the service starting.
